HCL Technologies - Bringing Digital to Life: The First Global Digital Execution Report

Provider of technology solutions built around digital, HCL Technologies asked us to conduct interviews with IT and business decision makers with an involvement in digital transformation to find out how organisations are developing and deploying digital strategies.

The research finds that 70% have a formal digital strategy which is documented and agreed on by all stakeholders, but just 10% say they have a plan to fully deploy that strategy. 89% say that a lack of visibility into existing processes is hampering digital projects.

To find out more, have a look at the full report.

Dell EMC - Ready for Digital Disruptors

We interviewed senior IT and line of business decision makers in the UK and Ireland to see how prepared organisations are to lead digital change in a world being transformed by new technologies.

The research reveals that 59% of respondents say their organisation is more focused on the day to day running of the business than longer term innovation and more than four in ten agree that they don’t have an established culture of innovation within their business.

Dell EMC share more of the findings in their whitepaper.

Adobe - Reinventing Loyalty

Are consumer demands changing, and how are marketing professionals responding to them? Customer experience is a focus for many organisations at the moment, but will becoming an ‘experience’ business win over customer loyalty? That’s what Adobe wanted to find out.

They asked us to interview 130 European senior marketing decision makers from the manufacturing and production, financial services, travel, retail, and automotive sectors.

A key finding from the study is that 75% of marketing respondents admit they don’t understand changing consumer behaviour. To find out more about this project have a look at our client research database, where you’ll find links to press articles discussing the research.

Cohesity - Managing Backups

One question can go a long way, and Cohesity made the most out of our omnibus service by asking just that. They asked one question in January, and that same question in August so that the data could be compared. A surprising amount can be drawn from this, especially when you break it down by organisation size and sector.

Provider of hyperconverged secondary storage, Cohesity wanted to explore if organisations struggle with managing back ups of their data. The survey finds that a need for additional storage capacity is the single most serious pain point across both studies.

Palo Alto - Securing NHS Data in a Digital Age

WannaCry exposed some serious weaknesses in IT security within the NHS. Palo Alto commissioned research with us to find out how NHS IT decision makers value data security in the wake of these recent cyberattacks, and their preparedness for the GDPR.

90% of respondents believe that prioritising cybersecurity in the NHS will unlock the potential of digitalisation to improve patient care. They also agree that cybersecurity investment could enable substantial savings in the long run, with respondents estimating that improved cybersecurity would save enough money to allow for an additional 150 doctors and 250 nurses within their institution, on average.

The full story can be found in Palo Alto’s report.

Wi-SUN Alliance - The Rise of the Internet of Things

The Internet of Things is a big trend at the moment, and Wi-Sun Alliance asked us to do some research to examine attitudes to IoT and IIoT, including the drivers, barriers, challenges and benefits.

We interviewed 350 IT decision makers involved in IoT initiatives from organisations in the UK, US, Sweden, and Denmark to find out.

Findings include that 99% have enjoyed benefits of implementing IoT initiatives, but there are many technical challenges too, including security and safety, data management, network configuration, recruiting IoT talent, and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Wi-SUN have created a full report and infographic, which can be accessed via their press release.
