Brief
Code42 aimed to build on the previous success of their Annual Data Exposure Report to further establish their thought leadership and emphasize the importance of minimizing insider risk. Their ultimate goal was to create the Data Exposure 2024 report, research-driven content, exploring insider risk to data.
We needed to conduct research for Code42’s 2024 Data Exposure Report, building on the findings from previous years’ research and reports.
Solution
We created an online quantitative survey that included repeat wave-on-wave questions, as well as new angles pertinent to that point in time, in order to explore fresh angles. Robust methodology is needed to formulate research for content.
Additionally, we surveyed three types of cybersecurity personnel—leaders, managers, and practitioners—to gauge their differing experiences with insider data risk and exposure.
