Brief
Everpure were looking to reinvigorate their sales & marketing activities around the database use cases aspect of their portfolio. They sought to use market research findings to better understand the current state of the market when it comes to database workloads, and to deliver a thought leadership campaign which helps to educate customers & prospects around the Everpure offering, following their recent rebranding from Pure Storage.
Solution
We conducted an internal survey of infrastructure owners/operators and application owners to understand the current state of their database estate, their modernization priorities and challenges, and how they see their individual roles evolving.
Outcome
We collaborated with Everpure to create the State of Database Infrastructure 2026 report, drawing attention to the challenges and opportunities for organization in database infrastructure and modernization, and creating awareness for Everpure following their recent rebranding.

“Working with Vanson Bourne on the State of Database Infrastructure 2026 thought leadership research report was a tremendous experience. We truly appreciate the great work and partnership throughout this project. The team delivered an impactful report with findings designed to create awareness of market challenges and opportunities surrounding database modernization. We are already utilizing this asset as our signature campaign activation in the first half of FY27, and we look forward to exploring a follow-up study with Vanson Bourne in the future.”
