Brief

Vanson Bourne had worked with Guardicore previously to run a couple of research-based campaigns, and when Akamai acquired Guardicore, they saw the value in continuing and expanding this activity. Prior to the acquisition, Akamai was not principally known as a security company, so by continuing this research, it would help establish Akamai’s name in the segmentation/zero trust security space.

Solution

Vanson Bourne recommended a scope similar to what had been used before (for comparability, both at an overall level and for key sectors), with a few new questions to help expand the narrative.

Outcome

We delivered an interesting narrative, and also wrote and designed the eBook and infographic. Following this, Akamai also requested eBooks and infographics to cover sector-specific stories across four key sectors. The content and broad narrative have allowed Akamai to land a huge amount of online coverage using the research.
