Brief

Keyfactor wanted to reinforce their thought leadership position through a piece of research exploring the state of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and digital trust. Additionally, this included looking at the complexities of managing PKI and digital certificates, as well as organizations’ journeys toward Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) readiness.

Solution

Vanson Bourne conducted a quantitative study with 1200 IT professionals, ranging from board members and c-suite respondents, through senior, mid and junior-level management, to those who are technical specialists. The aim was to uncover the views of these professionals on how they view PKI and digital trust within their organization, how this is managed and how they expect this to change in the future.
