Client research in the news - July 2017

We’ve proven ourselves right this month.

Last week, we celebrated the great and varied content that clients have been releasing based on our research. This content has lead not only to plenty of attention on social media, but from press publications too. However, it’s not just recently released projects that are getting headlines. Research projects from the likes of Dell EMC, McAfee, Claranet and Jamf, all first released at least six months ago, have been mentioned in publications over the past four weeks.

Why does this mean we’ve proven ourselves right? We believe robust research coupled with great content makes for compelling campaigns that attract attention again and again. This month’s list of headlines is a great testament to that.

Barracuda commissioned Vanson Bourne to conduct some public cloud based research to investigate adoption rates of cloud, as well as attitudes and concerns towards cloud security.

Provider of authentication & data protection technologies and solutions to businesses, Gemalto asked Vanson Bourne to interview 1,050 IT decision makers whose organisation has perimeter security. Their campaign ‘Mind the (breach) gap’ is already getting attention, in Dark Reading, Nasdaq, BW CIO World,, and Information Management to name a few.

With the aim to explore the impact of disconnected data, SnapLogic found that it’s having a significant impact on org anisations.

Inmarsat, mobile satellite communications experts, wanted to conduct some research on the Internet of Things (IoT). Vanson Bourne interviewed 500 IT decision makers involved with IoT initiatives, and Inmarsat produced a fascinating microsite based on the research data.
